ranch-style beef tips

“This simple beef tips recipe can be made with sirloin steak, stew meat or your favorite beef cut served over rice, noodles or mashed potatoes”    

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 pounds of steak, stew meat, top sirloin or other favorite cut 
  • 1 packet au ju gravy mix 
  • 1 packet onion soup mix 
  • 4 tablespoons butter cut into pats  
  • 1 cup Johnny Au Jus or beef broth

Cooking:

  1. Cut the steak into 1 inch bites, trimming off any pieces of fat. 
  2. Place the steak in the bottom of a crock pot. Cover with gravy and onion soup mix, then place the pats of butter on top. Pour the au jus or beef broth over the steak. 
  3. Cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
