Beef For The classroom

The Nebraska Beef Council offers a grant to all Nebraska family & consumer science teachers who wish to incorporate beef products in their classroom for the purpose of culinary or nutrition education. Teachers of advanced foods classes or Prostart are also welcome to apply. 

Schools will be reimbursed for beef products used in the classroom based on school classification:

• Class A schools will be reimbursed up to $200
• Class B schools will be reimbursed up to $150
• Class C schools will be reimbursed up to $100
• Class D schools will be reimbursed up to $75
  *Maximum reimbursements per school year

To receive reimbursement, teachers must provide a completed reimbursement request form and a copy of the receipt for beef purchased.
