Flippin' beef pizza

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef 
  • 2 tsp chopped onion 
  • ½ tsp. salt 
  • 1 pkg yeast 
  • 1 ½ c flour 
  • 2 tsp sugar 
  • 1 tsp salt 
  • Pinch of thyme 
  • Pinch of marjoram 
  • ½ tsp sugar 
  • Pinch of pepper 
  • One 15 oz can tomato sauce
  • Pinch of oregano 
  • 2 eggs 
  • ½ c milk scalded 
  • ¼ c butter melted 
  • Parmesan cheese

Cooking:

  1. Brown ground beef and onion in cast iron skillet. Pour off any drippings. Add salt, sugar, pepper and tomato sauce. Simmer while preparing bread.   
  2.  Place in a mixing bowl, yeast, flour, sugar, salt and spices. Add eggs, milk and butter. Beat these ingredients at medium speed for 3 minutes
  3. Spoon batter over hot beef mixture. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.  Let stand 25-30 minutes.  
  4. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.  Turn upside down onto a platter and enjoy!
