2022 Director Elections
The call for candidates period for the 2022 Nebraska Beef Council election has concluded. The due date for all candidate packets was June 15, 2022. Please see the information below regarding the election timeline and process.
2022 Election Districts:
District 2 - Cherry, Keya Paha, Brown, Rock, Grant, Hooker, Thomas, Blaine, Loup
District 4 - Boyd, Holt, Knox, Antelope, Wheeler, Boone
District 6 - Arthur, McPherson, Logan, Keith, Lincoln, Perkins, Chase, Hayes, Dundy, Hitchcock
District 8 - Seward, Lancaster, Otoe, Adams, Clay, Fillmore, Saline, Gage, Johnson, Nemaha, Webster, Nuckolls, Thayer, Jefferson, Pawnee, Richardson
2022 BOARD OF DIRECTOR ELECTION TIMELINE
August 1, 2022 Voters notified in districts with contested elections
Aug. 1 - Oct. 1, 2022 Precertification period completed by third party (must be postmarked by October 1, 2022)
Nov. 15-30, 2022 Voting period ballots will be mailed to qualified voters (ballots must be postmarked by November 30, 2022)
December 2022 Third Party Contractor counts and delivers certificate of election
December 2022 NBC Board of Directors canvass the results of the election(s) and vote to approve the election(s). New Directors announced.
January 2, 2023 New Director term begins
